Three different hop pellet varieties are packed into this mouth-watering West Coast IPA. The combination of Chinook, Columbus and Summit hops result in resinous and piney notes, which combine to produce a hearty, refreshing and fruity finish. It has an ABV of 7% with a pale yellow colour and a white head.
- Size: 35 pint
- Hop Additions: 30g Chinook, 30g Columbus and 30g Summit
- ABV: 7%
- Bitterness: 25 - 45 IBU
- Colour: 12 - 20 EBC
This kit contains:
- Easy step-by-step instruction guide
- 2 x 1.5Kg cans of hopped malt extract (barley malt extract and hop extract)
- 1 x 1.0Kg pack of dextrose monohydrate (brewing sugar)
- 1 x 11.5g sachet of Fermentis Safale US-05 American ale yeast
- 90g of fresh pelletised hops - 1 x 30g pack of Chinook, 1 x 30g pack of columbus and 1 x 30g pack of Summit
- 1 x Hop straining bag
- Makes approximately 35 Pints (20 Litres)
In order to make this kit you may need:
- Sterilizing powder
- Brewers bucket
- Water
- Syphon
- Hydrometer
- Long stirring spoon
- Measuring jug
- Carbonation drops / priming sugar
- Bottles or Barrel
Please note all necessary equipment is available in our #6 Kit - Premium Beermaking Set (if you want to use a Keg) or our #4 Kit - Winemaking Set and some bottles if you want to bottle it after brewing.
